In today’s Daily Fix:
The long-awaited DLC to Elden Ring has finally been unveiled, and will arrive on all current-gen and last-gen systems plus PC (and obviously not Switch). It’ll arrive on June 21 and the basic edition of the expansion will cost $39.99 USD. If you’ve got money to burn, there’s also a $250 Collector’s Edition that comes with a statue. In other news, those four games that Microsoft teased would come to PlayStation and Nintendo platforms have been revealed. Pentiment and Grounded will come to the Switch, while Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves will grace the PS4 and PS5. If these prove to be successes, you can bet we’ll see more Microsoft games on competing consoles in the future. And finally, Nintendo held a Partner Direct this morning, showcasing a remastered Epic Mickey, a re-release for GBA game Ninja Five-O, and the original two Star Wars Battlefront games. There’s also a bunch of Rare-developed games coming to Nintendo Switch Online. Sounds like a great time to be a gamer regardless of what console you own.
